The course is aimed at children between 8 and 16 years of age and follows the RYA Stage 1 syllabus to achieve the Stage 1 certificate in sailing.
We have a fleet of junior sailing boats and RYA qualified instructors. We offer a family friendly environment for the training.

- Certificate issuing criteria - Able to sail across the wind, steer and understand the basic principles of sailing

- Clothing - The training will be mostly on the water and children should be prepared for all kinds of weather. The ideal would be a shortie or long wetsuit which are available for a broad range of places including Decathlon and Mountain Warehouse / Trespass. The children will also need a change of clothes to wear on the way home should they get wet.
