Great turnout for Flag Officers' Regatta

The BGSC 2019 Flag Officers' Regatta held on Sunday 16th June was a great success with a large number of boats on the water throughout the day. The weather made for some interesting competition with wind strengths gradually increasing during the day and some powerful gusts.

Suffice to say that our younger sailors took most of the limelight with some fantastic Optimist and Laser sailing on show. In part, because they were more nimble in avoiding and recovering from the many capsizes that featured during the day. The two rescue crews were certainly kept busy!
