Full to overflowing

The torrential rain on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October 2019 caused the water level in Upper Bittell to rise by around 4 inches literally overnight ! The downpour topped the reservoir up to normal winter levels and the over-spill is now in operation. No more concerns about going aground on Perch bank for the time being and the safety crew were delighted that the jaffas are now only a few feet from the water. Let's hope that we don't need to empty the pond again any time soon.
