Water Temperature

Oxygen level in the Upper Bittell waters are still excellent. Bottom weed growth is increasing on MS and all waters are clear. There was a very small amount of emerging duckweed (Lemna minor) on Upper Arrow. The yellow/green tint on Upper Bittell has disappeared. There is significantly less Daphnia in both samples. Upper Bittell still has BGA flocs in the margin but there are none in UA. A very low level of BGA (Aphanizonium) was present in the LB sample.

pH has increased slightly on all waters.

There has been a slight fall in temperature on LB and MS and a small rise on UA and UB to 16.8°C.

Fish were active on all trout waters.
