We are thrilled to announce the SailingChandlery.com Team Racing Challenge 2026 on 5th December, a high-energy day designed to celebrate the tactical art of team racing, where split-second strategy matters just as much as pure speed.

Serving as an exclusive soft launch for club members, the 2026 event provides the perfect, supportive testing ground to learn team racing rules and put our newly restored fleet of six iconic Club Larks through their paces. With the boats fully restored and optimised thanks to the generous support of title sponsor SailingChandlery.com, this year lays the groundwork for 2027, when we will run a bigger expanded format. 

We are privileged to welcome Guy Brearey for an introduction to team racing formats, on-the-water umpiring, and post-race debriefs. Guy brings a wealth of elite racing experience, having served as Captain of Team Racing at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, won multiple BA Cups, claimed the 2022 GBR National Match Racing Championship, and represented Great Britain at the 2025 World Sailing Team Racing World Championship.
