Stay safe and stay off the ice!

While the Upper Bittell Reservoir looks like a winter wonderland right now, the ice is not safe to walk, skate, or play on.
As a sailing club, we know how unpredictable water and ice can be. No matter how thick it looks, it is dangerously thin in places and the water underneath is freezing.
- Keep yourself and your pets away from the edge.
- Do not attempt to test the thickness.
- Keep off the ice at all times.
Lets enjoy the view from the shore and keep everyone safe this winter.
