Return of Informal Sailing

The Prime Minister's announcement of Monday 23rd November stated that outdoor sports could resume at the end of the current lockdown period on 2nd December 2020. Therefore, the club is planning to re-introduce the informal sailing that took place over the Summer period, subject to any additional guidelines from the Government or Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the availability of appropriate rescue boat cover.

Furthermore, two races of the 2020 Frostbite Series have been completed (prior to lockdown) using the Autohoot system to manage race timings.The Frostbite series and informal sailing will recommence on Sunday 6th December subject to the above approach and we are also hoping to be able to run the traditional Boxing Day and New Years Day races too.
