Not nice for ducks

Living up to its name, racing in the Snowflake series meeting on Sunday 3rd February was not possible. As you can see, there is rather a thick covering of ice on Upper Bittell today. However, the good news is that the water level continues to rise and hopefully the promised warmer weather this week will allow normal activities to resume next week. Photo courtesy of Paul Cross.
