Barnt Green Sailing Club - Gallery 025

A gallery of photo's taken by Robin Brown at the inaugural Barbeque of 2009, cooking with gas!

Click each image to enlarge.  Around 30 members came to the evening, held after sailing on Monday 25th May.

It was a calm, warm evening and a most enjoyable event. Some opted to eat inside and avoided being "snapped".

John and Rosemary thought it was all splendid.    As for Robin, Pauline, Christine and Stuart, images speak louder then words!

Those who ate outside or came out later fell victim to your scribes phone camera, no apologies!

We are indebted to Weatheroak Brewery of Alvechurch for kindly sponsoring the evening, click their logo for details. Click the glass for a bigger drink

This great addition to the club, the gas barbeque, was the brainchild of Gordon Padmore. Well done Gordon and thanks.

No, Gordon, you cook food, not your fingers!   Rose bought ginger cake for everyone and it had a remarkable effect.

Rose found a convenient backrest courtesy of the Savages.  While Gordon may well have been saying, "I'm not guilty M'Lord, I took the extra screws back to the shop, honest I did"!

Thanks should also go to Brian and Mari Allen for preparing the salads, they cunningly avoided the camera as did the Lennoxs' and the Powells'.

Our next scheduled Barbeque after sailing is on Sunday 7th June which will also feature the first draw of the 162 club, not to be missed...
