Barnt Green Sailing Club - Gallery 013 Photographs taken by Chris Stringfellow during day 2 of the 2008 Snowflake series of some damage to boats sustained during the freak storm (tornado) of 8th January 2008.
The Solo dinghy belonging to Ralph Gordon, what a sad sight, commiserations Ralph! In fact, commiserations to all the members who suffered a loss.

Above, a broken mast lies forlornly between two boats while below are images of one of our club Optimist dinghies, Smidgen. She went for a trip around the lake all on her own before being discovered and brought back home in this sorry state, unfortunately, a write off!
