Barnt Green Sailing Club - Gallery 001 Photographs taken by Bob Suggitt (Race Officer) during the recently hosted 2006 Under 21 National Enterprise Championship held at BGSC on 2nd / 3rd September.
Andrew Ritchie & Arthur Mason (20673) won the championship when the leaders, Thomas Gillard & James Wright (22918), capsized on the final beat when a rogue gust caught them. What a way to lose a championship ! They were second as a consequence of this bad luck. Congratulations to the winners and commiserations to Gillard & Wright.

Not sure who these sailors are at the moment, they have just rounded the gybe and the lead boat helm is probably shouting "get back" while the second boat's main is just swinging across to finish the gybe and they are still planing.
